Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter and Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and be proficient in both fitting and turning operations. The Fitter and Turner will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, as well as fabricating and repairing components using a variety of tools and techniques.

Responsibilities:

– Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
– Assemble and install machinery and equipment
– Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
– Fabricate and weld components as needed
– Operate a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines
– Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy
