Position Overview

As a Fitter and Turner (Machinist), you will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components, machinery, and equipment. This role is essential across manufacturing, construction, engineering, and repair industries, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of metal components and industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Machining: Operate and maintain machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses to produce high‑accuracy metal parts.
• Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and carry out mechanical repairs to minimise downtime and prevent equipment failures.
