Prepare workstations at the start of processing and clean and reinstate workstations after processing.
Handle frozen and chilled fish/seafood processing using various types of equipment, including: • Processing: cutting, trimming, deboning, deskinning, etc. • Packing: vacuum packing, strapping, etc. • Storing of products
Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
Ensure that all food hygiene and safety standards are met and keep up to date with industry standards.
Perform other food manufacturing duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirement:
Able to work in a cold environment and handle cold materials, performing repetitive tasks according to schedules. Training will be provided to applicants with little to no experience in operating processing types of equipment.
Required to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
