·To maintain smoke detectors and heat detectors in good working conditions.

·To carry out preventive maintenance for fire alarm panel, smoke detectors and heat detectors.

·To carry our repair and maintenance of fire extinguishers in order to keep them in good working condition.

·To check and repair fire exit signage.

·To check fire exits as per schedule.

·To maintain a log of periodic checking of fire fighting system and conduct audits every month.

·To check fire hydrants, canvass tube, nozzles, valves, rubber tubes on monthly basis and they are in good operating conditions.

·To assist Assistant Director – Engineering in training of fire fighting to the employees.

·To maintain fire trolleys in good conditions.

·To organise fire drill for the hotel once a quarter.

·Impart training on regular basis to ensure all employees are aware of their role in case of evacuation.
