Under the City Manager's direction, the Fire Chief plans, organizes, directs and administers all activities and operations of the Crescent City Volunteer Fire Department and related contracted agencies. RESPONSIBILITIES Provides administrative management, leadership and support to all personnel. Responds to fire, medical and other emergencies; develops and implements incident management. Participates in duty coverage assignment and coordinates with other City departments, the Fire Protection District and public safety agencies.
