Position Summary

The Financial Reporting Analyst reports to the Supervisor, Corporate Reporting and is a key member of the Methanex Corporate Reporting team. This position is responsible for the preparation of external and internal financial reports to senior management and external users and to assist in the global accounting consolidation process. The reports encompass the consolidated worldwide operations of Methanex. Key responsibilities include analyzing regional and consolidated monthly and quarterly financial results (including forecasts); preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and related disclosures; and technical accounting analysis for new standards or changes in the business.
