Position Overview
The Financial Controller is responsible for the full financial management, control and reporting of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role provides leadership to the finance team and acts as a key commercial partner to operational management and the parent Group.
Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for all accounting functions, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, general ledger, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations.Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow.Maintain strong balance sheet control, including WIP, accruals, prepayments and provisions.Support year-end statutory accounts production and liaise with external auditors as required.Ownership of cashflow forecasting, monitoring and reporting.Active management of working capital, including WIP, debtors and creditors.Oversight of credit control activi...
