Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, payroll processing and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses
- Manage cash flow forecasting, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process and support strategic financial planning
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (VAT, UIF, EMP201, SARS submissions)
- Prepare annual financial statements and act as the primary liaison with external auditors
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation calculations
- Oversee grant financial management, donor reporting, and compliance with funding requirements
