Financial Controller - Redcar - Up to 65,000

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with an exciting business who are seeking to recruit a technical Financial Controller to report into the Finance Director. This role has a strong focus on month‑end close, statutory and group reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of intercompany accounting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the month‑end close process, ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial information.
• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts in line with group reporting requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards (FRS 102/IFRS as applicable) and group accounting policies.
• Preparing and coordinating statutory accounts and managing the external audit process.
• Responsible for the balance sheet integrity, including monthly reconciliations and reviews.
