Position Overview
Position Summary:
The Controller is responsible for the casino’s overall finance operations. This role provides hands-on leadership for accounting, reporting, budgeting, procurement, and regulatory requirements (including audit and compliance requirements), while overseeing and supporting the Staff Accountant and liaison with internal and external stakeholders as required.
Key Accountabilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Oversee full-cycle accounting for the casino, including: Gaming and hospitality revenue Treasury and cash controls Receivables, prepaids, and accruals Indirect and withholding taxes Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Review reconciliations, working papers, and journal entries prepared by the Staff Accountant Prepare GAAP compliance financial statements Respond to inquiries related to financial results a...
