Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst/Accountant at our Butler location. The position is responsible for the overall preparation and analysis of financial records, and for communicating with management and manufacturing personnel for decision-making purposes.


Summary of Responsibilities:

+ Support the monthly close process, including inventory and cost-related activities

+ Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances

+ Analyze financial results, identify variances, and assist in root-cause analysis

+ Assist in the preparation of plant forecasts and budgets

+ Support internal controls and compliance requirements, including SOX

+ Assist with internal and external audit requests

+ Perform sales/use and other tax-related accounting activities

+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy...
