An established and growing automotive business is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to take ownership of the finance function within a standalone environment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role responsible for month-end processes, financial reporting, and maintaining strong financial controls across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of month-end and management accounts
Preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
General ledger reconciliations and journal postings
Oversight of AP and AR processes
VAT returns and HMRC compliance
Liaising with outsourced payroll and external accountants
Supporting year-end audit and statutory accounts
