Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY
The Financial Accountant supports the delivery and efficient operations of the International Finance function. The role holds key responsibilities for accurate and timely financial reporting for Optos PLC, France and GmbH.

The Financial Accountant is a key member of the International Finance function, and will demonstrate Optos’ key competencies, which are listed in the addendum. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the periodic close for Optos international business units.

Month end reporting and analytics across Revenue and COGs, Payroll, Bonus & Overheads, ensuring accruals and prepayments are recorded correctly. 

Responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring these are accurate and completed on a timely basis.

VAT and other tax compliance for the UK and other EC territories, including Intrastat & Sales reporting.
