An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a growing energy business based in Birmingham. This role is ideal for an ACA-qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a collaborative finance team focused on monthly and annual financial reporting.

The Role
You'll support the month-end close and reporting process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls and compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.

* Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts.

* Support monthly group reporting and controls processes.
