Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Finance Manager for an independent school located in Seattle, Washington. This full-time, onsite role offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment and is ideal for someone highly skilled in accounting, team supervision, and cross-functional collaboration.


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Finance Manager will oversee and perform all general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and bank and credit card reconciliations. This role will also supervise a junior accounting position and act as a backup when needed. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, willing to step into routine tasks, and capable of navigating complex systems such as Veracross efficiently. Additional responsibilities include drafting financial statements, managing benefits and retirement, and handling some HR-related duties.
