Position Overview
A Finance Executive/ Assistant Manager (depending on working experience) in our law firmmanaging daily financial operations, including full sets of accounts, client trust accounts (client account), and office accounts, ensuring compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and statutory regulations (PCB, SST). The role is to handle billing, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Functions: Handle full sets of accounts (General Ledger, AP, AR) using software like SQL or MYOB.
- Trust/Client Account Management: Crucially, manage client trust accounts according to strict legal regulations.
- Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and send accurate invoices, manage disbursement tracking, and oversee client aging reports.
- Reconciliations & Reporting: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and prepare monthly management accounts.
