Position Overview
To support in the administration of the finance department and manage the Time & Attendance system in line with strict payroll deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TIME AND ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT AND PAYROLL
- Administer the Time & Attendance (Timeline) system, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to payroll deadlines
- Capture new engagements and process terminations on Time & Attendance.
- Reconcile biometric clockings and monitor absenteeism trends & ensure staff are on correct shift patterns and cost centres.
- Investigate and resolve daily exceptions (e.g., late arrivals, overtime discrepancies) in collaboration with Unit Managers
- Oversee leave management via Timeline and ESS systems, ensuring accuracy prior to payroll processing
- Validate authorised overtime against approved requests and elevate irregularities
Prepare month-end data exports for permanent staff into Sage
