Position Overview
Description We are looking for a highly organized File Clerk to support a non-profit organization in San Diego, California on a Contract basis. This role will focus on bringing structure to a large-volume records environment, improving file management practices, and helping prepare physical documents for future digitization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with both paper and electronic records, and able to partner with internal teams to create a more efficient and reliable filing process.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and sort a high-volume file room containing active, inactive, and archived records to improve accessibility and control.
• Review existing document storage methods, identify gaps, and establish a clearer filing structure for long-term record maintenance.
