**Pay (Based on Experience):**

+ **Apprentice:** $28–$32/hr
+ **Lead:** $32–$35/hr
+ **Foreman:** $38–$45/hr

**Overview**

Join a respected, family-owned company that values skilled tradespeople and long-term careers. As a **Field Welder** , you’ll work on active construction sites installing structural steel and miscellaneous metal systems.

**What You’ll Do**

+ Perform **SMAW (stick welding)** using 7018 rod
+ Install structural steel (columns, bar joists, metal decking)
+ Install misc. metals (handrails, guardrails, stairs, mezzanines)
+ Assist with crane picks, rigging, and signaling
+ Operate lifts and equipment (scissor lifts, aerial lifts, cranes)
+ Read blueprints and measure accurately

**What You Bring**

+ Experience with structural steel welding & erection
+ Proficiency in SMAW and/or FCAW
