Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Technician to join our team, focusing on field and test operations. This role requires flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time throughout Northern Nevada. You will be involved in a phase of testing emergency communications, working in pairs to test, drive, navigate, and monitor test equipment in various remote and urban locations. This position offers the opportunity to operate 4x4 company vehicles and use advanced test equipment to gather and upload data daily.
Responsibilities

+ Conduct testing of emergency communication systems across different areas, securing local lodging as needed.

+ Operate 4x4 company vehicles in remote and urban settings, ensuring safe and efficient navigation according to software-driven maps and grids.

+ Configure, use, observe, and collect data with provided test equipment, uploading this data daily.
