Education Matric N3/N4 Qualified Fitter /Artisan/Turner/Turner Machinist advantage. Experience 4 Years Experience in Valves, Actuators and controls. 2 Years’ experience specific to KSB Product. Requirements Knowledge of HP (High Pressure) and LP (Low Pressure) Valves. Insight into on-site Valve Machining and Lapping. Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting ability. Understanding of valve trim, seals, packing, seats, and internal components. Precision fitting with reference to components assembly, especially bearings, both white metal sleeve type as well as normal roller and ball bearings and also tilting pad arrangements. Precision measuring ability both inside and outside micrometers, verniers and depth gauges as well as telescopic gauges, and DTI’s. Sound engineering practices with regard to fitting of tolerance components, such as sleeves, impellers, couplings etc (Knowledge of fits and tolerances).
