SUMMARY:
Primarily responsible for using technical product expertise to perform field service activities associated with Cymer equipment at customer sites. Field service activities include installing, maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing Cymer DUV lasers under end user environmental conditions. A Field Service Engineer represents Cymer to the customers with confidence and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots laser equipment problems via telephone or at customer site. Installs, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on laser equipment at customer sites. Travels as required to perform service activities at customer sites. Provides technical training, guidance and assistance to less experienced field service engineers.
