Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for a highly motivated Field Engineer to join our team in Lake Charles LA/Vinton LA/Beaumont TX Area. 
This position requiring 1-3 years' with heavy civil general contractor experience .

Responsibilities/Duties:

+ Receive, review, forward and track status of submittals.

+  Assist in management of project permit process.

+ Assist is preparation of bid packages and procurement.

+  Receive and review change orders.

+  Assist more senior civil engineers with entry level engineering tasks.

+  Assist with performing onsite construction administration and construction observation services including reporting/monitoring contractor's compliance with contract documents.

+ Evaluates change order requests including design changes, specifications and drawing

+ releases and reports status.
