Insight Global is looking for a Fiber Technician our of Eastern/ Southeastern Ohio who will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, termination, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cabling to ensure reliable, high‑quality service delivery. This role utilizes specialized fiber tools and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve network issues in the field. The technician maintains consistent daily communication with dispatch regarding service issues, work assignments, splicing documentation, and field updates, and works closely with Network/Maintenance Technicians and the Construction team to ensure alignment across operations. In addition, the Fiber Technician II partners with the Supervisor of Fiber Splicing to assist with scheduling splicing projects, monitoring adherence to project timelines, and coordinating fiber maintenance activities with the Network Operations Center (NOC) and, when necessary, end users.
