“Supporting Families, Caring for Children”
The Open Home Foundation (OHF) is a Christian Community Response and has a vision that every child and young person has the opportunity to grow up in a secure, loving family and receive a depth of care which will bless them throughout their lives.
The Family/Whānau Visit Supervisor role plays a very important part in families’ lives, ensuring that family/whānau visits with children and young people happen in a safe, respectful and responsible manner. Family/Whānau visits are a means for a child/young person to spend time with their parent or another person they are close to. It is an important part of a child/young person’s journey to rebuilding a relationship with close family.
