Position Overview
What You’ll be Doing
You will provide family therapy to youth and families in a home-based setting and community context. Clients will be juvenile justice involved, gang involved/affiliated, or at risk. You will work closely with a team of trained therapists to ensure the delivery of quality clinical care. You will be responsible for participating in community outreach to support communities impacted by violence and inequity.
Services will be delivered in the context of an evidence-based model. The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Therapist, you will provide intensive, evidence-based family therapy to youth ages 11-18 years old, some of whom may be involved in or at risk of gang affiliation, along with their families. Using the FFT model, you will engage families in strength-based, relational interventions that reduce risk, improve family functioning, and support long-term behavioral change.
