The Family Services Counselor 3 is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive area-wide service plan for behavioral health, aligned with the results of an area behavioral health needs assessment. This role provides leadership, management, program oversight, and technical expertise for Family Services–sponsored activities and programs, as requested by ecclesiastical leaders, Area leadership, government agencies, and the Family Services Regional Manager.
The Counselor 3 achieves objectives primarily through collaboration with others, including a volunteer workforce and Community Resource Partners (CRPs).
Note: This position operates in a highly complex environment characterized by diverse geography, languages, government systems, socio-economic conditions, and legal frameworks. The role requires travel to outlying areas and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
