Family Practice Physician Locum Tenens

Location: Southern North Carolina

Coverage need

• Maternity leave coverage in a family practice clinic within a multi-specialty group (adult, pediatrics, allergy, urgent care)
• Target start: January or asap

Schedule and workload

• 4 days per week, open to 5 days per week
• Clinic hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a mid-day break
• Last morning appointment at 11:30; last afternoon appointment at 4:15
• Panel: largely Medicaid with higher no-show rate; 30 patients booked daily to achieve seen per day
• MA support; providers complete charts throughout the day

Clinical requirements

• Traditional outpatient family medicine seeing all ages; comfort with adult and pediatrics required
• Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered
