Opened in March , the Cowichan Maternity Clinic (CMC) is a Primary Care Maternity clinic located in the Cowichan District Hospital adjacent to the maternity ward. Come and join a collegial and high-functioning multidisciplinary team of six highly skilled FPs and three registered midwives (including one Lactation consultant) providing OB care to women in the Cowichan Region.

Our staff includes an RN and two part-time MOAs. Our practice is well supported by local OB/Gyn, Pediatricians, and Anesthetists. We provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women up to six weeks postpartum. The caseload is approximately deliveries per year shared by the group. A new hospital is set to open in May with expected increased delivery numbers.
