Assist the Head of the Maritime Business Program as required to fulfil the Academy’s strategic priorities.
Teach subjects such as Chartering, Commercial Ship Management, Maritime Business, Marine Insurance and Finance across all degree and diploma levels, using suitable teaching styles that satisfy Academy requirements.
Use innovative and effective pedagogical approaches in the classroom.
Deliver lectures and lead seminar groups as appropriate.
Participate in the examination assessment process, including setting papers, preparing marking schemes and agreeing marks with other staff.
Employ innovative assessment practices to enhance learning and teaching.
Continuously update discipline knowledge to develop research‑informed teaching.
Bring latest research‑based knowledge into the classroom.
Ensure full compliance with the timetable and the annual academic calendar.
