Tenure-track faculty in Addictions Counseling are responsible for preparing and teaching courses in the Department of Education and Human Services and may be assigned to courses at the Brighton and/or Downtown Campus. Tenure-track faculty maintain accurate student records, develop new educational materials, assist with curriculum review and assessment, engage with students outside of class, and hold office hours. Tenure-track faculty perform professional duties and participate in departmental and institutional functions, including departmental meetings and committee work. Tenure-track faculty may be expected to teach at another campus, extension site, or in an online, remote, and/or hybrid modality. Tenure-track faculty report to the chairperson of the Department of Education and Human Services.
