Responsibilities

Supervising and delegating work to a team of approximately three to four technicians. Controlling the activities of all staff that work within the facility, maintaining strict access control, authorizing activities, and overseeing work. Building and leading a highly motivated team by coaching, training, and mentoring. Acting as a designate for the Facility Manager. Acting as the Officer‑in‑Charge (OIC), managing the emergency response function within the facility. Assisting Unity‑2 projects, which are typically complex research activities, and performing maintenance activities, equipment replacement or upgrades, or process improvements. Completing required training as defined in the Conduct of Operations Procedure for qualified staff and the Supervisor Training Plan.
