Facility Service Technician

West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill a Facility Service Technician role in our Community Services Department. The Facility Service Technician serves in a labor role in West Chester Township government, responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair of Township facilities' mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire protection (MEP) systems and equipment. 

This position receives issues, prepares work orders and determines specific needs for such maintenance and repair based on the troubleshooting and diagnosing of such equipment, often times working with outside vendors and contractors for such maintenance or repair. 

This position provides emergency field assistance for disabled equipment, performs snow removal, and may perform other emergency township duties when necessary.  This position focuses on the completion of such tasks, so the finished product is completed properly and is safe to u...
