SUNY Empire State University is seeking candidates for a full-time Facility Operations Assistant 2 to work in our Saratoga Springs location.

Under the direction of the Assistant Director, the Facility Operations Assistant 2 will function in a hybrid capacity, split between supervisory and hands-on operational work.

Duties of this position will include the following:


+ Perform routine custodial cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways and common areas

+ Perform light maintenance tasks including, but not limited to changing light bulbs and minor repairs

+ Perform seasonal snow removal including shoveling, salting and de-icing walkways

+ Supervise five custodial positions
