Empire State University is seeking candidates for two (2) hourly, seasonal Facility Operations Assistant 1 positions to work in our Saratoga Springs location.

The Facility Operations Assistant 1's will perform a variety of routine unskilled and semiskilled manual tasks related to the operation and maintenance of buildings and facilities, surrounding grounds and vehicles and equipment used in maintaining these sites.

Duties of this position will include the following:


+ Perform routine ground keeping tasks such as: mowing, trimming, pruning, mulching and weeding

+ Perform transplanting and watering of flowers and shrubs

+ Daily inspections of grounds for trash and/or damage

+ Replace exterior light bulbs

+ Use hand tools to complete ground tasks as required
