Job Summary:
This position will report to the Plant Operations Supervisor. Will perform a variety of routine manual tasks requiring little planning or special knowledge, and sustains medium to heavy physical effort involving frequent exposure to all kinds of weather conditions. Duties include, but are not limited to; Cleans grounds by sweeping, raking, shoveling and removing by hand debris, leaves, branch's, etc., clears sites and prepares them for planting; plants seeds, bushes, etc. using hand and power tools; cuts grass, fertilizes and waters grounds, prunes, removes bushes and trees; loads/ unloads trucks, breaks up concrete and asphalt to repair holes; assist in mixing and applying concrete and asphalt, removes trash and snow from roads and walkways; plows roads and parking lots and mixes salt and sand used on them; snow removal using trucks, tractors, bobcats, loaders, walk behind snow blower and shovels; operate a truck mounted salt spreader; cuts glass, adjusts and paints w...
