Position Overview
Essential Job Functions - Operate and maintain laboratory and office facilities; manage lab organization and consumable inventory (stocking supplies, scheduling refrigerator/freezer cleanings, pipette calibrations).
- Order, stock, and track reagents, consumables, first‑aid items, and other supplies.
- Arrange FedEx shipments and receive deliveries.
- Manage vendor/service providers for maintenance, calibration, and repair of facility/utilities; coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to lab safety standards; manage chemical/biological waste (storage, labeling, disposal).
- Maintain chemical inventory and SDS record‑keeping; track warranties and renew as needed.
- Manage liquid nitrogen/dry ice levels; act as first responder for temperature alarms; serve as EH&S point of contact and safety monitor.
