Position Overview: The Facilities Assistant at The Arc Ontario supports the upkeep, safety, and appearance of all agency properties by handling year‑round grounds maintenance that includes lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, and general exterior upkeep. This role also assists with painting, surface preparation, wall covering repairs, and a variety of maintenance tasks alongside the Facilities Specialists. The Facilities Assistant ensures equipment is used safely and maintained properly, follows agency standards for quality and safety, and completes assignments independently while modeling professionalism for individuals supported by the agency.
