Flexible Work, Better Balance
Fabrication and Welding:
Lay out, fit, and assemble fabricated parts of structural metal products according to blueprints and layout specifications, with some assistance.
Operate cutting and heating torches; perform basic crane operations and heat corrections as needed.
Tack weld in all positions using G.M.A.W. (MIG), F.A.C.W. (Flux Core), and S.M.A.W. (Stick) processes.
Grind parts, torque bolts, and operate both mechanical and manual cutting equipment.
Quality, Safety, and Maintenance:
Produce finished products that meet recognized standards, codes, and customer expectations by following quality control procedures.
Check camber and sweep tolerances of girders and beams, and make necessary corrections per specifications with assistance.
Identify potential hazards, follow all safety protocols, and correct unsafe conditions promptly.
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of tools, machinery, and work area.
