Extension Program Assistant, 4-H, Henderson County

Position Overview: The Extension Program Assistant supports the 4‑H Program in Henderson County, working closely with the 4‑H Agent and the County Extension Director. This full‑time, 12‑month recurring position involves a 37.5‑hour work week and is 100% funded by state and county resources. The role requires availability for evening, night, and weekend events as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Program Assistant will:

• Assist the 4‑H Agent in creating and delivering a well‑rounded 4‑H program, including special interest programs such as Sewing, Agricultural Day Camp, Mini Gardening, FRESH program, livestock judging, and cooking with STEM.
