Monitor updates in global regulations and help to communicate and implement relevant changes applicable to Mettler-Toledo.
Execute product classification by analyzing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and functionalities to determine accurate Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) or similar controls.
Maintain proper documentation of classifications and update relevant master data in preparation for audits and inquiries.
Cooperate with strategic business units as Product owners and Procurement.
Review supplier export control declarations and maintain classification and update master data for audit and enquiries.
Act as the subject matter expert advising business units, R&D, and engineering on export restrictions.
Conduct in-depth business partner screening, analyze ownership structures and potential 'red flags'.
