**Overview**

Kimley-Horn's is seeking a Mechanical Engineer-In-Training with 2+ years of experience to join the Sacramento, CA office's MEP team!

**Responsibilities**

+ Support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team specifically working onBuilding Systems Engineering and/or Industrial project types.
+ Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various projects such as load calculations for HVAC, Exhaust, Chilled & Heating Hot Water Systems.
+ Prepare design drawings - floor plans, flow diagrams, details, schedules, etc. and calculations for projects under a Professional Engineer.
+ Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
+ Familiarity with theState and localCoderegulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
