Position Overview
The Experienced Clinical Nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care. They impact quality of patient care, patient outcomes and use of resources in a designated area in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, an RN license and at least twelve months of recent RN experience in medical/surgical or an acute care setting. The candidate must be available to work the Day/Evening shift, from 7am - 7pm, with rotating weekends and holidays required.
G15 Myeloma/Lymphoma is a specialized inpatient unit providing comprehensive care for patients with hematologic malignancies, including multiple myeloma and lymphoma. Nurses on this unit deliver complex therapies, manage side effects, and provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
