The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Planner – Planning Agreement Specialist to join CBCity and play a key role in shaping a beautiful, liveable and well-designed city that our community values.
This specialist role is responsible for leading the coordination, negotiation, governance and oversight of Planning Agreements across Council, from inception through to the delivery of public benefits associated with development outcomes. You will assess major development and planning proposals, including rezoning applications and State Significant Developments, while contributing to the development and continuous improvement of Council’s planning and urban design policy framework.
You will provide expert planning advice to Council’s Senior Management and Executive Leadership Teams and work collaboratively across the organisation to support strategic corporate projects and key organisational priorities.
