Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President, Academic, the Executive Director of Indigenous Education is responsible and accountable for providing college-wide leadership and setting the strategic direction of Indigenous Education at the College.
Within the context of the College Strategic Plan and with guidance of the Indigenous Education Council (IEC), the Executive Director is responsible for the development and preservation of strategic educational planning relationships with the First Nations, Metis communities, and Indigenous organizations throughout the College region. The Executive Director will implement a robust process of continuous assessment in program demand in the pursuit of mutually beneficial opportunities to increase education accessibility and student enrollment throughout NIC Region.
