To perform Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) coding fori) reporting Casemix data to MOH for-Medisave Accreditation-Publication of hospital bill size, length of stay and volume of 80 common conditions in Singaporeii) Internal use, in quality initiatives and business planning
To support other clinical quality initiatives as required by management
Key accountabilities
Review medical record documentation and accurately assign appropriate ICD-10-AM diagnosis and ACHI procedure codes in accordance with coding guidelines.
Maintain quality and productivity according to department and organizational requirements.
Maintain competency and accuracy while utilizing tools of the trades, such as 3M CodeFinder, SAP, SCM and all reference materials.
Participate in any clinical quality activities/ additional duties as assigned by the Department.
