Executive (NUS Institutional Review Board)
The job holder will conduct preliminary reviews of applications for ethics approval that are submitted by researchers to the NUS Institutional Review Board (NUS-IRB). He/she will ensure that approved research projects conform to Singapore’s laws and regulations (e.g., Human Biomedical Research Act, Medicines Act, Personal Data Protection Act, Penal Code, Health Products Act, etc., and related Regulations) and to NUS’ policies (e.g., DMP, RDMP, etc.). The job holder will provide secretariat support to the NUS-IRB and manage the ethical reviews, the approval processes and follow-up (including renewals) of all human research studies conducted in NUS.
