Position Description
Position Summary
New River Electrical is searching for an Estimator to join our growing company. The Estimator is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and interpreting contract documents (specs, drawings, and reference information) to develop detailed, comprehensive estimates for various electrical projects. This position reports directly to the Estimator Supervisor.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Reviews project plans and specifications and confirms complete scope.
* Participate in customer pre-bid meetings (in-person or virtual) and site visits to gain an understanding of project requirements and site challenges.
* Identify risk issues and their order of magnitude.
* Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier information and pricing.
