Requirements: National Diploma in Building or BTech in Civil/Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or similar Between 6 and 10 years’ experience working as an Estimator in the construction industry A solid grounding in Building and Civil Engineering practices A solid understanding of buildability, resourcing required, and programming Familiar with standard conditions of contract for building and civil engineering works such as JBCC, FIDIC, NEC3, etc. Aware of the importance of specifications being adhered to in the pricing and submission of tenders Familiar with standard methods of measurement for building and civil engineering works Conversant with Bills of Quantities for the construction industry Be able to read and understand drawings from the consultants, ...
