Job Description

A medium sized construction company with offices in Johannesburg are looking for an Estimator – Civil and Structural.

Minimum requirements:

•Minimum of 5-7 years technical experience and proven ability to develop professional tenders in civils and structural projects, including underground piping.

• Completed diploma / degree in Civils or Structural Engineering / Management or Quantity Surveying.

• Must have good construction and engineering contractual knowledge.

• Must be computer literate, specifically with MS Office Suite and CCS (Candy).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare Civil and Structural estimates as directed.

• Carefully study and interpret tender documents, specifications, and drawings.

• Ability to identified risks and opportunities and effectively communicate these to the Estimation and proposals management team.
